A very interesting analogy of why Arsenal are not quite "performing" in Europe that I found on football365 this morning.
"To use a somewhat inappropriate analogy, Arsenal just can't get it up when it comes to European football. The irony of it all!
They're like a massively hung beast of a man who gets the jitters when it really matters. What makes it worse is that the much uglier, weedier, less endowed and altogether much less likeable bloke from West London who seems to have no trouble scoring on the big night.
Still, at least there's a spark of excitement with Arsenal, unlike the big mouthy lad from up North, who keeps on going on about the fit bird he shagged in Barcelona years ago as if it makes up for the fact that he's got absolutely nothing ever since, culminating in a night of complete and utter impotence in Prague!
